Course Description

Provides a foundation in business theory and practice for the arts industry. The program is specifically industry-focused and designed to give students the knowledge and skills to work in a diverse range of art forms and organisations, including theatre companies, venues, dance companies, exhibitions, galleries, concerts and festivals. By studying at WAAPA, students have opportunities for practical experience, including placements/secondments in the wider arts industry.

The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following: AQF Cert IV; Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent); Special Tertiary Admissions Test;* University Preparation Course;* Indigenous University Orientation Course;* Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment; or* Experience Based Entry Scheme.*
