Course Description

1. Provide a strong foundation in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of network systems and information technology more generally; 2. A strong, practical understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and a commitment to them; 3. Well-developed written and oral communication skills; 4. An ability to critically analyse and evaluate complex information and solve problems; 5. An awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of network and cybersecurity systems; 6. The ability to work professionally as an individual and as a member of multi-disciplinary teams; 7. An understanding of the need to undertake lifelong learning and the capacity to do so; 8. An ability to undertake research in the selected specialisation; 9. Preparation for future management roles as a cybersecurity and network systems professional.
